Destorm!

St Anthony's Fire practicing, Me standing on a chair

Again pictures have been edited!

MIke Stud

I had to do one more.  Yes he's a rapper too, but he's not very well known.  I saw him open for Lil Wayne and basically fell in love with him.  I don't know to much about him except that he was going to be a pro baseball player, but stopped playing for Duke to become a rapper and his friend was going to be a pro Basketball player and stopped for the same reason.  So if you wanted to look some things up feel free i just wanted to share his music with you!

He makes his own beats, raps and sometimes sings, its just really good in my opinion.

Destorm!

I know I know, he's a rapper, but I had to do it.  Destorm a.k.a Valentine is from Baltimore now in Brooklyn NY who has two different youtube channels.

Now let me explain, His first youtube channel which is just youtube.com/destorm is all of his original raps and things that he collaborates with other youtubers with, writes raps, songs and sometimes does remixes of covers like the one i will be showing you at the bottom of this post.  But his other channel, youtube.com/destormtv has challenges that the viewers give him, like say all 50 states in a rap in less than a minute.  Stupid things like that, and he tries to beat the challenge, and basically he always does.

Theres not to much to say about him so

Btw this video is featuring Boyce Avenue, someone you guys should remember!

Sunn

One of my friends told me I have to many guys and rappers on here so I figured why not switch it up a bit, and who better than Sunn, a 20 recording artist who writes her own songs, plays her own background music and just has a great attitude on life.

Her style of music is Alternative/Electro and Pop which make a great combonation even though they don't seem they would create a good sound.  Although she is recording with SAB Records she still is loyal to her youtube fans always adding new covers of their favorite songs.

Bliss!

The first thing I have to say about bliss is that I wouldn't take them to seriously.  They're songs are hilarious but they are great at what they do.  Its a band thats pop/hip hop based in Boston, MA.

The two rappers of the group Clove and Point take songs that people know such as miley cyrus, drake, one republic and much more take they're beats and follow basically the same melody but change up the lyrics completely.  And as i said before, they're hysterical.

There is also a singer in the band Markiss, they all came together in 2009 and basically hit the ground running. THey have recently come out with a mixtape that will be released soon, so if you enjoy the video check it out!

Pictures!

Here is Just some pictures I've taken at some of their concerts!

When Tyler Ward came to jersey in a small coffee shop!

I know its kind of blurry but this is the Deans List.  As you can see I was pretty far back in the crowd

Mac Miller, one of my personal favorites on his incredibly dope tour!!

Most pictures I edited to make them look a bit better!

Kinna Grannis

I figured after all the new rappers coming out i'd give you guys something different.  Kinna Grannis is more mellow and laid back with her acoustic music.

Although Kinna has been playing guitar and singing for quite some time now, she recently got her name out there when she won a contest and her youtube video aired on the 2007 superbowl in front of 97 million viewers.

After that happened, she became a pretty popular Youtube star and became more recognized for her music.

Her songs have been played on TV shows such as general hospital and college life.

Boyce Avenue

Boyce Avenue originally from Florida has created a band amongst his family.  This band consist of him and his three brothers, alejandro, fabian and daniel manzano.  They started their band in 2004 when they all realized that their passion was for music.

THey started to make remixes and giving their own take on some popular songs by rihanna, pink, the fray, and the script just to name a few.  After a bit of that, they started to create their own original songs.

Although they aren't that popular over here, I think they're amazing and need to be more known.   They're talent on instruments, vocals and productions is outstanding.

At the moment the band is touring across europe estimated to have 25,000 fans in each venue.  They'll be coming to the U.S if you guys want to check them out live!

The deanslist

If you've never heard of the Deans List than your missing out.  Their latest mixtape "The Drive-in" came out this year and is already making a name for itself as the best mixtape of 2011 thus far.  One of their most popular songs on this mixtape is Dear Professor.  This song is very upbeat, fast paced and all around amazing.

The Deans List consist of three members.  Sonny Shotz, Mendoza, and Mik Beats.  They all come together creating their own lyrics, beats and tracks

They take the old school music, remix them and make them their own

Joseph Vincent

Some friends and myself were looking up funny videos and stumbled upon joseph singing to people on an online chatroom.  It was actually hilarious watching him sing to random people he didn't know about what they were doing.  After watching that video we became curious if he had anything else funny to watch and I noticed he had some original songs as well.  I had to check them out and turns out he's amazing!

Joseph is an up and coming acoustic artist who is striving to make a name for himself in the music world.  he started playing guitar at 15 and decided he would make a youtube channel with him playing some cover songs.  He starting composing his own songs at the age of 16 and hasn't stopped yet.  His music is great for a relaxing time or adventure with some friends.  His music talks about all different types of things like relationships, love, going out, and much more.

Mac Miller!

 At a concert of his
 FRONT ROW!

Mac Miller born as Malcom McCormick is an up and coming rapper.  At the age of 19 he is already signed by Rostrum Records releasing his first mixtape this past august.  I felt the need to share him with you guys because i think his songs are not only  good but hilarious.  Although this is his job he doesn't take it to seriously which is why so many people love him in the first place.  His style is almost that of a throwback vibe with addictive beats and tight rhymes.  When he performs he's so close to the audience you can just tell he's having fun with his performance and loves to entertain, one of the many reasons why his fans enjoy his work so much.

Christina Grimmie

This Zelda obsessed girl has been discovered on Youtube and is in the process of being signed.  Christina sings and plays the piano in all of her videos.  Her piano playing is outstanding for someone who hasn't had any lessons before.  She has been working with producers trying to get a cd out creating original songs and singing covers of artists out there.  She was recently asked to be on the Digitour coming soon.  In the My youtube contest where fans of artists vote for the number one artist on youtube, Christina beat out some big name competitors including justin bieber, rihanna and selena gomez.

Boston Boy

In Castleton State College when he walked into audience!

Boston Boy also known as Sam Adams originally studied political science at Trinity College while playing for his schools soccer team. You may think what got him into music in the first place?  Well, after hearing a song by Asher Roth called "I love college" he decided to make a remix of it with some friends called "I hate college" not realizing how big it would become.

He is now a successful rapper, singer and producer from Boston.  His beats and raps are unlike anyone else by mixing hip-hop with electronic beats.

Although he has become pretty famous and more well known I had to share his music with you guys.  he is one of my favorites rappers and singers out there.  I have seen him live multiple times and he always exceeds my expectations.

At the age of 19 Jordan is an Italian singer/songwriter who has an independent.  From R&B to soul all the way to pop, Jordan's' lyrics will inspire anyone who listens to them.  She has an amazing talent and an incredible ability to relate to teens and those in their early twenties.  she sings about relationships, hardships, heartbreak, triumphs and true love.  Her dream is to become more known by people all around the world.  she is so dedicated she made a facebook, twitter, youtube page, blog and even hired a team to help her out in her venture.

Although she is going after her dream she is still pursuing her education at the university of California going after a bachelor of arts degree to further her knowledge of music and how the industry works.  Her passion is music and you can see it in all of her handwork.

Tyler Ward!

When he walked into the audience in Colorado!

Based in Denver Colorado Tyler Ward is a self produced musician.  He not only plays all his own instruments, records, and produces, makes videos, but also he writes and produces original songs.

Passion is what drives him to write, and you can hear all of that in his songs and lyrics.

Encouraged at a young age to pursue sports instead of music, Tyler spent most of his time working toward scoring touchdowns and winning football games rather than chasing his musical dream.

After high school, Tyler got accepted to the United States Air force Academy where he started his collegiate football career.  He eventually (after many concussions) decided football wasn't where his true passion was and music and writing was.

He has performed with the likes of The Fray, The Jonas Brothers, and Gavin Degraw just to name a few.
Now, you can find Tyler writing, recording and performing music all over the state of Colorado.  He is a very well known local artist and when I saw him perform in a local bar there (picture at the top) I thought he was amazing and should be more well known around the world.

Dave Patton

Dave Patten has been on Youtube creating all his music from start to finish.  When listening to him everything you hear on his self-produced albums- acoustic and electric guitars, piano, drums, bass, synthesized horns and string parts - is Dave.

Hard to believe I know!! I saw him in concert and when I saw him jump from instrument to instrument I was truly impressed with all of his talent.  Its very rare when a musician has the ability and talent to synchronize each aspect of his tracks to the exact specifications of his creative vision.

His vocals have a rock-style feel to them but when he combines them with hip-hop beats it sets him apart from most other musicians.

Dave is from the Philadelphia are, where he grew up around music and played drunks in local bands.  In 2006, he took the leap to invest in himself and his career.  Now Dave uses his multitude of musical abilities, technical know-how, and boundless drive to create a sound that is different from anything else out there.

About Me!

"never quit on your music no matter what happens cause anytime something bad happens to you thats the one place you can escape to and just let it go."

From classical to rock, to acoustic, to pop to rap to indie, the list can go on and on.  There are so many different types of music out there, who says you need to just pick one genre?

Since the age of 4 I have been taking piano lessons, and growing up with the classical musicians such as Mozart and Bach, than at the age of 10 I started with voice lessons and became more Broadway and theatrical based, singing and playing things from shows like Wicked, and Rent.  After becoming more familiar with those I decided to start with Guitar lessons and my music taste varied yet again.
